Chris Seasons

Chairman, ARC Partner

Chris provides support for ARC’s investment team in the areas of strategy and risk management, as well as investment decision making. He brings over 30 years of operating experience covering all facets of the Canadian energy industry.  

From 2004 to 2014, Chris was the President of Devon Canada Corp., a large cap Canadian energy company with diverse assets in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and he is a Professional Engineer. 

Byron Nodwell

Executive Director

Byron Nodwell founded Longshore in 2015. He successfully led the initial and subsequent growth of the business through a private financing with ARC Financial and acquisitions of infrastructure and lands in the emerging Lower Charlie Lake fairway. He is a passionate advocate of Canadian oil and gas and has been a governor of both EPAC and CAPP. The Board of Longshore would like to recognize and extend its appreciation to Byron for his leadership over the past 9 years.

Reg Greenslade

Reg Greenslade is a professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in the oil & gas sector. Mr. Greenslade was the founder, Chairman, President and CEO of a number of Canadian oil and gas companies including more than 10 years as Chairman, President and CEO of Big Horn Resources Ltd., Enterra Energy Corp. and Enterra Energy Trust. He also was the President and CEO of an international drilling company and serves on the board of directors of various other public and private companies.

Mr. Greenslade holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Industrial and Management Engineering from Montana State University.

Trudy Curran

Ms. Curran is a retired businesswoman with extensive experience in executive compensation, mergers and acquisitions, financing and governance. She served as an officer of Canadian Oil Sands Limited from September 2002 to the time of its sale in February 2016. As Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Canadian Oil Sands Limited, she was responsible for legal, human resources and administration and a member of the executive team focused on strategy and risk management. From 2003 to 2016, she was a director of Syncrude Canada Ltd., where she served as chair of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee and as a member of the Pension Committee. She serves on the boards of Baytex Energy Corp. and Trican Well Services Ltd. and chairs the Human Resources and compensation Committee at both companies as well as the Health and Safety committee of Trican.  Ms. Curran is also a member of the Alberta Securities Commission and past co-chair of the Calgary executive of the Institute of Corporate Directors.  

Ms. Curran holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a Bachelor of Laws degree (both with distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

 

Logan Fisher

Logan is primarily focused on researching and analyzing trends and market fundamentals in the energy industry, including insights on pricing, supply, demand, and the impacts of regulations and policies. He also provides business analysis and analytical support relating to ARC’s investing activities.

Logan joined ARC in 2023 with prior experience as an engineer at a major upstream oil and gas company and in equity research at a Canadian bank. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Regina and is a Professional Engineer and CFA Charter holder.
